More about Group Psychotherapy: Putting thoughts & feelings into words....
We work, play and live in the context of groups. Have you felt out of step, misunderstood, isolated or confused by interpersonal interactions? Would you like to better understand how friends, co-workers and potential partners see you? Or, would you like to better understand and connect with your own experience?
Participating in a group can offer you multiple perspectives to help you learn about yourself and improve your interpersonal relationships. Groups have been shown to be an effective treatment for depression, anxiety and low self esteem. Join a group to explore, learn and practice social interactions in a safe setting.
Throughout our life time we move in and out of different circles; friends, family and professional relationships. Creating healthy relationship takes practice and what better way than to join a group in which the main task is to put your thoughts and feelings into words. This group offers participants and opportunity to learn to listen and communicate with one another. This is a 5-7 person mixed gendered adult group that meets every other week.

Karin teaches a leisurely paced yoga class with a focus on introspection and self discovery. Most classes include a centering meditation, breath work, postures and relaxation. Karin enjoys exploring a wide range of yogic topics that include yoga philosophy, meditation, iRest yoga nidra, exploration of cakras or in-depth posture study and chanting. It is likely that one or more of these aspects will show up in class.
